Quilters' Quarters in Georgetown, MA is dedicated to welcoming quilters of all ages in a space where they can feel at home. In addition to fabrics, the shop is home to a half dozen antique sewing machines (some trreadle, and some hand crank) and customers are invited to 'sit 'n sew' at the machines on Friday evenings.
Honoring these beautiful, hard working machines, QQ is going to find and stock fabrics that feature the beautiful images of sewing in times past. This collection is of quilt quality 100% cotton, 44" wide, and offered here in pre-cut sizes that fit the particular designs.
The aqua sewing supplies is by Robert Kaufman; Pink Tools (and buttons and spools) pre-cuts are 18", and Six Block panels are 24". Henry Glass fabric titled "cute as a button" has a rich black background. All (but the six vintage machine panels*) are priced per pre-cut unit at $8.00 for one half-yard unit, due to their rarity. All are cut at the time of your order from a bolt of fabric.
(*The six block vintage machine panel measures 24" rather than 1/2 yard)
